This week, I’m hosting “Starbucks Mode” in my classroom and I’ll be saving up a special treat for my students.
My CLASSROOM CROCKPOT HOT CHOCOLATE is always a hot with the students because it’s witch, creamy, and chocolate-y.
As students come into the classroom, they will get an order form to fill out. As they work, I will customize their orders and serve them.
It’s one of my favorite days of the year!🎄

This week in Biology, I used this easy activity to simulate THE RULE OF TEN.
It was easy to set up and provided my students with a visual representation of how energy flows through an ecosystem.

I’ve tried so many “osmosis” labs, but this one is my favorite to date!
For this lab, I used Orbeez beads to simulate the process of osmosis. Students used their data to answer real-world problems about human read blood cells and other health- related situations.

Today was 🎟️ TICKET CASH-IN 💰 day in my classroom!
My students earn tickets throughout the year for various things and cash in those tickets at the end of the grading period.
I had prizes, snacks, and other fun rewards. It was fun to see how excited they got about some of the prizes! 🤩

We are finally starting our 🩸 BLOOD EVIDENCE 🩸 unit over in Forensics and we kicked it off with a lesson over blood typing.
After teaching about serology and blood typing, I had my students try their hand at a little murder mystery lab that I call DUMPING GROUND. ⚰️
This lab is so easy to set up and only uses household chemicals!
